Nandamuri Balakrishna’s legendary sci-fi film Aditya 369 is all set for a spectacular re-release in 4K Ultra HD and 5.1 surround sound on April 4, 2025. Originally released in 1991, the movie broke new ground in Indian cinema with its time-travel storyline and Balakrishna’s unforgettable dual performance as Krishna Devaraya and Krishna Kumar. Directed by visionary filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Sridevi Movies’ Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, Aditya 369 remains a timeless classic, blending science fiction, history, and entertainment in a way that continues to captivate audiences even today.

 

To celebrate this iconic film's return to the big screen, the makers have organized a grand re-release function on Ugadi (March 30, 2025) in Hyderabad. The event will feature Nandamuri Balakrishna, the film’s cast and crew, technicians, and key members of the media. Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad expressed his joy in reviving the masterpiece, emphasizing how the film brought tremendous recognition to the banner and still resonates with audiences of all ages.
