Bollywood actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Amol Parashar added spark to long-standing relationship rumours by making their first public appearance together. The duo was seen posing for photographers at the screening of Amol Parashar’s latest web series Gram Chikitsalay, held last night at Excel Entertainment’s office in Khar, Mumbai. Konkona, who exuded style and confidence in a grey power suit, stood beside Amol, who looked sharp in a blue blazer over a white shirt. The chemistry between them was unmistakable, and their joint appearance has only intensified buzz about their off-screen bond.

The two actors first worked together in the 2019 Netflix film Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, which sparked initial talk of a friendship that may have turned romantic. However, neither has officially confirmed their relationship. Amol Parashar, in a past interview with The Times of India, had hinted at being in a committed relationship but refrained from naming anyone. He emphasized that privacy matters to him more than publicity. “Nothing is stopping me. I have found no good reason to put it out there,” he said, referring to why he avoids public declarations.

He also criticized the common practice in the industry of using personal relationships as publicity tools. “There have been suggestions from PRs to ‘float’ stories even when there was no relationship, just for buzz,” Amol revealed. However, he clarified that he prefers people to talk about his work rather than his personal life. “If I want to express something, I’ll do it through my craft,” he added. Without directly naming Konkona, Amol also acknowledged that while the two do not hide their interactions, they do not feel the need to go public through media declarations. “We are not hiding. We go to parties, and people know. But putting something out there hasn’t felt necessary,” he said.

Konkona Sen Sharma, one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed actresses and directors, was previously married to actor Ranvir Shorey. The couple separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2020. Since then, Konkona has remained tight-lipped about her personal life, focusing on her performances and directorial ventures. Their joint appearance is being seen by many as an unofficial confirmation of their relationship, even though neither has spoken publicly about it. As fans and social media users react with curiosity and admiration, the couple’s respectful stance on privacy has also earned appreciation.
