The upcoming horror thriller Amaravathiki Aahwanam continues to gain momentum as the team successfully wraps up its extensive Madhya Pradesh schedule. The film, directed by GVK and produced under the Light House Cine Magic banner by KS Shankar Rao and R Venkateswara Rao, is already drawing attention for its eerie premise, suspenseful narrative, and technically ambitious execution.

Starring Siva Kantamneni, Ester Noronha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Supritha, and Harish in lead roles, the film also features experienced actors such as Ashok Kumar, Bhadram, Gemini Suresh, and Nagendra Prasad in significant roles. Amaravathiki Aahwanam is set to join the ranks of Indian horror thrillers that have found success both in theatres and on OTT platforms.

After receiving a positive response to its title and first-look poster, the film’s production team has been working swiftly across multiple states. The latest phase was a 20-day shoot across scenic and haunting locations in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district, including Tamia Hills, Patalkot, Bijori, and Chimtipur. The locations added a raw and chilling backdrop to the film’s horror narrative, enhancing its visual storytelling.

Lead actor Siva Kantamneni shared his excitement about the film’s progress, stating, “The title Amaravathiki Aahwanam has been widely appreciated. Director GVK is sculpting this as a gripping horror thriller that caters to modern audiences. With the completion of the Madhya Pradesh schedule, the film is taking a definitive shape, and the result is going to be impressive.”

Director GVK emphasized the technical strength of the film. “This is not just another horror film. The storyline introduces a fresh angle within the genre, and VFX plays a crucial role in intensifying the experience. Cinematographer J Prabhakar Reddy is capturing the visuals with great flair, and editor Sai Babu Talari, known for Hanuman Movie fame, is delivering precise, impactful cuts. Padmanabhan Bharadwaj’s score adds a haunting layer that completes the horror vibe we envisioned,” he noted.
