Yash & Guy Norris Team Up for Ramayana Action Scenes

One of the most awaited mythological epics in Indian cinema is now in motion, as Rocking Star Yash begins filming for Ramayana, with legendary stunt director Guy Norris on board. Known for his iconic work on Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad, Norris is bringing his global expertise to choreograph explosive action sequences that put Yash’s Ravana at the forefront.

The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra of Prime Focus Studios, along with Yash’s own Monster Mind Creations. Slated for a Diwali 2026 release, Ramayana Part 1 promises a fusion of myth, scale, and spectacle like never before. The second part is scheduled to release on Diwali 2027.

Currently shooting in India, Norris is closely working with Yash to design powerful, large-scale action moments that will redefine Indian cinematic standards. Yash, known for his dedication, is deeply involved in the creative process, spending 60–70 days filming and ensuring every moment of his portrayal as Ravana reflects strength and complexity.

A recently released image from the set showcases Yash in a commanding new avatar ripped, intense, and battle readyhinting at a fierce reimagining of Ravana. His dual role as actor and co-producer further underscores his commitment to making Ramayana not just a film, but a benchmark for Indian mythological cinema on the global stage. With Ranbir Kapoor also a part of the stellar cast, Ramayana is shaping up to be a cinematic phenomenon that fuses India’s ancient legacy with cutting-edge storytelling and international action design.
