Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and co-directed by A.M. Jyothi Krishna, the film features Pawan Kalyan in the powerful role of a warrior who fights for Dharma. During the press meet, Pawan Kalyan opened up about his journey in the film industry and his relationship with A.M. Ratnam, a figure he deeply admires. "I have mostly spoken on political matters in the past, but today I am here to talk about this film for one person A.M. Ratnam garu. He is the man who elevated regional cinema to a national level. He made Tamil films perform like straight Telugu films, bringing regional cinema to the forefront," Pawan Kalyan shared.
Acknowledging the struggles faced during the making of the film, which went through the setbacks of two waves of COVID-19, Pawan Kalyan emphasized how Ratnam’s passion for the film kept the team motivated. "Even when I entered politics, Ratnam garu came to me and asked me to do this film. I gave it my best, despite my busy schedule. I worked for almost 57 days on the climax, designing the action sequences, using martial arts skills I had learned overseas," he added.
Pawan Kalyan also recalled the difficulties faced by the production team during the making of the movie and thanked every member who contributed tirelessly to its completion. "The fight sequences, especially the one in the climax, were a significant challenge, and I’m grateful to the entire team for their relentless efforts," he said.
Pawan Kalyan described Hari Hara Veera Mallu as a film that explores the fictional journey of the Kohinoor diamond, from Koti Lingala near the River Krishna to the Hyderabad Sultans. He praised the vision of director Krish Jagarlamudi, stating, "When Krish garu first introduced me to this concept, I instantly connected with it. The film tells a fascinating story, and I hope it touches the hearts of the audience."
