After the record-breaking success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has turned his focus toward his highly ambitious collaboration with Tamil filmmaker Atlee, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Produced on a massive scale by Sun Pictures, the film is shaping up as one of India’s most expensive and technically advanced projects. Reports confirm that Ramya Krishnan, the iconic actress celebrated for her portrayal of Sivagami in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, has been roped in for a key role. This marks her first major collaboration with both Allu Arjun and Atlee, raising anticipation for her character’s importance in this sci-fi fantasy world.
The ensemble already includes Deepika Padukone as the female lead, while speculations suggest Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor are also part of the cast. With Ramya Krishnan onboard, the film’s star power has elevated further, appealing to a broad pan-Indian audience.
AA22xA6 officially began shooting in June 2025, with ongoing schedules in Mumbai featuring Allu Arjun and Mrunal Thakur. Ramya Krishnan is expected to join upcoming schedules soon. The film is planned as a sci-fi action fantasy set in a parallel universe, with Atlee pushing boundaries beyond his usual commercial style.
The makers have brought in Hollywood stunt director Spiro Razatos, known for his work in Fast & Furious 9, Captain America: Civil War, and Jawan, to design breathtaking action sequences. Top VFX studios from Los Angeles are also engaged, ensuring a world-class cinematic experience. Music is being composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
Targeted for a late 2026 worldwide release, AA22xA6 is fast emerging as one of the most ambitious big-screen spectacles ever attempted in Indian cinema. With Allu Arjun’s growing pan-Indian fan base, Atlee’s blockbuster track record, and Ramya Krishnan’s legendary screen presence, this project promises to be a landmark in Indian film history.
