Pooja Hegde, once among Tollywood’s busiest heroines, is set for a grand comeback after more than three years away from Telugu screens. She will be seen opposite Dulquer Salmaan in his upcoming film, tentatively titled DQ41, directed by Ravi Nelakuditi and produced by SLV Cinemas.

Known for her glamorous and high-energy roles, Pooja is now taking a different route in DQ41 with a simple, girl-next-door look. The makers hope this refreshing change will strike a chord with audiences.

However, her career slowed down after a string of flops such as Most Eligible Bachelor, Radhe Shyam, Acharya, and Bollywood projects like Cirkus and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Critics questioned her film choices, and some even speculated that she might not get major offers again.
