Raj Kundra’s 60 Crore Fraud Probe Intensifies As Mumbai Police Questions Shilpa Shetty Link

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police has stepped up its investigation into businessman Raj Kundra’s alleged Rs 60 crore financial fraud. Kundra, the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was grilled for nearly five hours this week and is expected to be called again for more questioning.

According to reports, Kundra admitted that a portion of the disputed funds was transferred to Bollywood actresses Bipasha Basu and Neha Dhupia. However, investigators noted that he avoided giving direct answers on several key issues, forcing officials to dig deeper into the case.

Sources have revealed that around Rs 25 crore was traced from the company’s accounts to multiple actresses, including Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, and Neha Dhupia. Links to Balaji Entertainment have also surfaced. Investigators believe the company’s finances came under stress during the demonetisation period, which triggered suspicious fund transfers now being closely examined.

Kundra has also been asked to submit video content produced under the “Best Deal” brand for verification. The Mumbai Police confirmed the investigation is still ongoing, and more individuals from the entertainment industry could be summoned in the coming days.
