Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein is creating an impressive wave of excitement at the Indian box office ahead of its theatrical release. Scheduled to hit cinemas on November 28 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the film has registered one of the strongest advance booking trends of the year. Directed by Anand L Rai, the movie began its pre booking phase on November 24 and immediately surged past several notable Bollywood releases in early ticket sales. This strong start has raised expectations that the film could open with double digit numbers, a rare achievement for romantic dramas in recent times.
As of Tuesday at 11 am, the film sold nearly 18,000 tickets across India, generating around Rs 50 lakh in advance collections. The three major national multiplex chains, PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, together accounted for more than 10,000 of the tickets sold, demonstrating solid appeal among urban audiences. With three days still left before release, industry analysts believe that Tere Ishk Mein is on track to register one of the highest pre sale records for a love story in 2025. The lack of any major competing release during its first week has also boosted its chances of a strong opening day.
The romantic genre, which has shown surprising strength this year, is expected to benefit Tere Ishk Mein as well. If the film manages to connect emotionally with audiences, trade experts predict that it could enjoy a long and successful theatrical run. The promotional campaign has played a key role in maintaining steady interest. The trailer, songs, and marketing efforts have helped build anticipation, especially among younger viewers. With the early numbers looking promising and advance bookings steadily climbing, the film appears well positioned for a successful start at the box office.
