The much-awaited film Dacoit is raising the stakes, shifting focus from its high-octane action to delve into the softer, emotional side of the story. Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film is a Telugu–Hindi bilingual, marking the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo. Following the initial teaser and glimpses, the team is now gearing up to release the first single, Rubaroo, on February 27th, heightening excitement among fans.
The song poster gives a preview of the contrasting elements in the film’s journey. Adivi Sesh is seen in a calm and intense mood, while Mrunal Thakur’s gentle and reassuring smile hints at the romantic side of the narrative. This striking contrast signals that Rubaroo will serve as a tender, heartfelt moment amidst the gritty, raw backdrop of Dacoit’s action-packed storyline.
Rubaroo promises to explore the deepening emotional connection between the lead characters, providing a refreshing layer of romance that complements the film’s high-stakes action. Music director Bheems Ceciroleo is at the helm of the soundtrack, with fans eagerly anticipating a vibrant and soulful album.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, Dacoit features a talented ensemble cast, including Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, the film is set for a Pan-India release, and with the release of Rubaroo, the excitement for this multi-layered film continues to build.
