Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, was initially slated for a June 25, 2026, release. However, the makers have decided to delay the release to allow more time for post-production work, ensuring the film achieves "absolute perfection." The revised release date has yet to be announced.
The production company, Vriddhi Cinemas, took to Instagram to update fans on the film's status. They expressed their gratitude for the positive response to the songs and glimpses released so far. The company confirmed that the "talkie" portion of the film was completed and that only one song remained to be shot. Peddi also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, with Ram Charan playing a wrestler in the movie.
