Prime Video has officially announced that System, a legal drama starring Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika, will premiere worldwide on May 22. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film will stream in India from May 6. Produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Smitha Baliga under Baweja Studios, System is set to delve into the themes of justice, power, and privilege through the journey of two women from contrasting social backgrounds who unite to fight against injustices.
Sonakshi Sinha plays Neha Rajvansh, a public prosecutor, while Jyotika portrays Sarika Rawat, a courtroom stenographer from a modest background. The two women form an unlikely but powerful partnership as they confront the system’s deep-rooted inequalities, unearthing buried truths along the way.
The story, written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghildial, explores the conflict between power and justice in a world shaped by privilege. The film also stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Gupta in supporting roles.
