Meta Develops AI Zuckerberg to Strengthen CEO-Employee Connections

Meta is working on an AI-powered version of CEO Mark Zuckerberg to enhance communication within the company. The project, still in its early stages, aims to create a photorealistic AI character that can interact with employees. This AI is being designed to mirror Zuckerberg’s speech patterns, tone, and views on company strategy, with the goal of making employees feel a stronger connection to their CEO.

Zuckerberg is directly involved in training the AI character, feeding it his current thoughts on Meta's direction, and fine-tuning its responses to align with his mannerisms. The character's primary purpose is to bridge the gap between Zuckerberg and Meta's global workforce, offering a more personalized communication experience.

This project is being developed under Meta's Superintelligence Labs, a division focused on advancing AI technologies. The AI Zuckerberg character is part of Meta’s broader ambition to integrate artificial intelligence into every aspect of its operations. Zuckerberg has committed significant time to AI development, spending up to 10 hours a week coding and reviewing engineering work, signaling his deep involvement in the company’s AI push. Along with the AI character, Meta is also working on a separate "CEO agent" that can handle tasks for Zuckerberg, such as retrieving information. This initiative reflects Meta’s growing emphasis on AI as a cornerstone of its future, as the company looks to close the gap with competitors like OpenAI and Google.
