Actor Ram Kapoor has addressed the controversy surrounding his interaction with Shreya Kalra during Lock Upp 2, weeks after the incident became a talking point among viewers and on social media.

The discussion began after Shreya spoke about Ram kissing her on the cheek following a task she won that helped protect him from elimination for the week. She later discussed the incident with fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde and spoke about the importance of respecting personal boundaries.

Ram has now shared his perspective, saying that he and Shreya had private conversations about the matter and that she had told him she did not intend to portray the interaction in the way some viewers interpreted it.

Ram Kapoor Explains His Side of the Controversy

Speaking during a recent podcast conversation, Ram described himself as an expressive and physically affectionate person and said this has been part of his personality throughout his career.

He indicated that he does not plan to change the way he naturally interacts with people because of online criticism or incidents he feels have been taken out of context.

Ram also pointed to his long career in the entertainment industry, saying that he has worked with many women over nearly three decades without facing similar complaints. He said he prefers to concentrate on positive aspects of his life rather than continuously respond to controversies.
