The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance is poised for a decisive victory in the Assam Assembly elections, according to the latest exit poll by Axis My India. The projection suggests the alliance could win between 88 and 100 seats in the 126-member Assembly, comfortably crossing the majority mark and setting the stage for a third consecutive term in power.

In terms of vote share, the NDA is projected to secure around 48 percent, significantly ahead of the Congress-led alliance, which is estimated at 38 percent. The Congress is projected to win between 24 and 36 seats, placing it far behind the NDA in the contest.
