A recovery followed through Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy, who built a crucial 116-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Klaasen’s 62 and Reddy’s 56 revived the innings and put Hyderabad in a competitive position. The match came down to the final over with nine runs required. Rishabh Pant, who had struggled to find rhythm earlier, delivered under pressure by hitting two boundaries to level the score. After two dot balls increased the tension, he finished the game with a decisive lofted shot over mid-off, remaining unbeaten on 68.
