For the first time, Emerald High School students are bringing their creativity to the public stage with a weekend art showcase at the Stoneridge Shopping Center. The exhibition will feature a variety of artwork by students enrolled in the school's drawing, sculpture, and ceramics programs.
The showcase is scheduled for Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The community can visit the exhibit in the space between Sheikh Shoes and Swarovski inside the mall. It offers a unique opportunity to support young artists and enjoy a vibrant collection of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional art.
This marks the first time Emerald High has organized a public art display of this kind, aiming to highlight the talent and dedication of its student artists. Visitors can expect an inspiring blend of visual expression, creativity, and craftsmanship. From detailed sketches to innovative sculptures and skillful ceramics, the range of pieces reflects months of hard work under the guidance of the school’s art educators.
The event is free and open to all ages, making it a perfect weekend outing for families, art lovers, and community members. It also offers a glimpse into the artistic development happening inside Pleasanton’s newest high school and celebrates the importance of visual arts in education. Whether you're an admirer of student talent or simply looking to experience local culture, this showcase provides a meaningful and colorful look at the emerging artistic voices of Emerald High School.
