Maruti Suzuki achieves highest-ever monthly sales on export and UV surge

Maruti Suzuki India Limited recorded its highest-ever monthly sales performance in November 2025, supported by robust domestic demand and the strongest export tally in the company’s history. The automaker reported total sales of 2,29,021 units for the month, reflecting continued momentum in both passenger vehicles and utility models as the broader auto sector experiences sustained growth.

In the domestic market, Maruti Suzuki delivered 1,74,593 units, a sharp rise from 1,44,238 units in the same month last year. The figure includes 1,70,971 passenger vehicles across the Mini, Compact, and Utility segments, along with 3,622 units of the Super Carry light commercial vehicle. Supplies to other manufacturers added another 8,371 units, taking total domestic sales including OEM volumes to 1,82,964 units, well above the 1,52,898 units reported in November 2024. The consistently strong domestic response reflects ongoing demand for key nameplates across the company’s portfolio, particularly in high-volume categories.

Exports were a major highlight for the month, with the company shipping 46,057 units, the highest monthly export figure ever achieved by Maruti Suzuki. With this record shipment, cumulative exports for the April to November period of the 2025–26 fiscal year have reached 2,84,820 units, significantly higher than the 2,10,077 units sent during the corresponding period of the previous year. The company’s expanding global footprint and consistent overseas demand have helped reinforce its position among major vehicle exporters from India.

Within the passenger car lineup, the Mini segment, which comprises the Alto and S-Presso, registered sales of 12,347 units, up from 9,750 units a year earlier. The Compact category, home to popular models such as the Baleno, Swift, WagonR, Dzire, Celerio and Ignis, posted 72,926 units compared to 61,373 units in November 2024. Together, the Mini and Compact classes accounted for 85,273 units, contributing substantially to overall A-segment growth and demonstrating the continued relevance of small and mid-sized cars in the domestic market.

Utility vehicles retained their position as the company’s fastest-growing segment. Models including the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6 collectively recorded 72,498 units, a notable increase over the 59,003 units sold in the same month last year. The Eeco van also maintained its strong performance, with 13,200 units sold compared to 10,589 units a year earlier, reaffirming demand in the multipurpose vehicle category.

For the April–November period, Maruti Suzuki’s cumulative sales have reached 15,28,650 units, surpassing the 14,51,383 units achieved in the corresponding period of FY2024–25. Domestic sales including OEM supplies stand at 12,43,830 units so far this fiscal, while passenger vehicle sales alone have exceeded 11.42 lakh units, showcasing sustained strength in core segments.

With record exports and its best-ever monthly tally, November 2025 represents a significant milestone for Maruti Suzuki. The company continues to consolidate its leadership in the Indian auto market while expanding its presence overseas, driven by a diverse product portfolio and sustained consumer confidence across regions.
