Rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in connection with a shooting involving fellow artist Offset outside a hotel and casino in Hollywood, Florida, according to the Seminole Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 PM on Monday, though the exact date was not specified by authorities.

Police said Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was shot in a valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock property. He was transported to a hospital and treated for injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

Lil Tjay, born Tione Jayden Merritt, was taken into custody and booked into Broward County Jail on a disorderly conduct charge. As of Tuesday morning, he was being held on a $500 bond. Authorities indicated that the incident began as a fight and confirmed that another individual was detained at the scene but has not been charged.

The rapper’s attorney denied any involvement in the shooting, stating that claims linking her client to the gunfire are false. Police added that the investigation remains ongoing as officials work to identify others who may have been involved in the altercation.
