Delhi NCR Weather Update: IMD Forecasts Rain & Thunderstorms on April 7–8

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a change in weather conditions across Delhi NCR on April 7 and 8. Residents can expect strong winds, cloudy skies, and chances of rain along with isolated thunderstorms during these two days.

On April 6, the weather remained normal with temperatures ranging between 21°C and 33°C. However, a slight drop in temperature is expected from April 7. The minimum temperature may be around 20°C and the maximum around 31°C. On April 8, it could get cooler, with the minimum dropping to 18°C while the maximum remains near 31°C.

The IMD has also mentioned that there could be one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms during this period. On April 9, the skies are likely to stay partly cloudy.

From April 10 onwards, the weather is expected to clear up, and temperatures will gradually rise again. The maximum temperature may reach between 33°C and 34°C.

This weather change is due to an active western disturbance, which is bringing strong winds and slightly cooler conditions, especially during mornings and evenings.
