Pelli Kani Prasad Movie Interview - Saptagiri Shares Film Insights & Fun Moments

Pelli Kani Prasad Movie Interview - Saptagiri Shares Film Insights & Fun Moments

What inspired you to choose the film Pelli Kani Prasad?
After acting in movies like Saptagiri Express, Saptagiri LLB, and Vajra Makuta Dara Govinda, I wanted to explore a role that had strong comedic elements. When director Abhilash narrated this story, I found it extremely entertaining. I felt confident that this film would work well with audiences.

How did you prepare for your role in the movie?
The character is designed to have excellent comedic timing. Director Abhilash had a clear vision and even narrated the script with 70% of the dialogues finalized. I trusted his approach and worked on delivering the character’s humor naturally.

How did you finalize the film's title?
The director suggested the title. Since Venkatesh garu’s iconic character Pelli Kani Prasad is memorable, we felt this title perfectly suited the storyline. The entertainment factor in the film matches the title’s appeal.

What’s special about the ‘Sasanaala Grantham’ concept shown in the trailer?
It’s a humorous concept revolving around a book of traditional laws related to dowry. The conflict between the father and son regarding dowry rules is handled in a fun yet engaging way.

How was your experience working with the production team?
The producers offered great support, and the film’s promotion has been fantastic. I’m grateful for Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) for believing in our content. Having worked as an assistant director under Dil Raju garu’s banner, seeing my film release through SVC is a proud moment.

Can you tell us about your on-screen chemistry with the heroine?
The heroine’s role is strong and equally dominant. Both characters have balanced screen presence, and her family’s involvement adds a lot of humor to the film.

Does the film convey a social message?
No, this is purely a comedy film designed for entertainment. Audiences can expect a fun-filled experience with well-crafted situational comedy and a strong screenplay.

What’s the significance of the music in the film?
Shekhar Chandra composed the music, and the songs are fantastic. The background score adds extra energy to the film’s engaging scenes.

How do you feel about being called ‘Junior Pelli Kani Prasad’?
It’s an honor! Some people have already started calling me that, and I take it as a positive sign that the film’s promotional efforts are working well.

What upcoming projects can fans look forward to?
I have a few exciting projects in the pipeline. I’ll reveal more details after the release of Pelli Kani Prasad.
