Hebba Patel Interview: Odela 2 Will Offer a Great Theatrical Experience to the Audience

My character in 'Odela 2' will be very impactful. The film will give a great theatrical experience to the audience: Heroine Hebba Patel Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to entertain in her Never Before character in the highly anticipated movie 'Odela 2'. This is the sequel to the supernatural thriller 'Odela Railway Station'. Directed by Ashok Teja under Sampath Nandi's Super Vision and produced by D Madhu under Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks, the film is creating huge buzz with its promotional content. Tamannaah will be seen as a Naga sadhu, a character with mysterious energy. Hebba Patel and Vashishtha N Simha are playing important roles. The teaser of this movie has taken the expectations to the next level. Odela 2 will be released in theaters on April 17 as one of the biggest attractions of this summer. On this occasion, heroine Hebba Patel shared the features of the movie in a press conference.

When you made the movie Odela Railway Station, did you think there would be a sequel to it?
Odela Railway Station was a film made during the lockdown. All the shootings were stopped due to Corona. At a time when it was not known when it would start again, Sampath Nandi garu and the team bravely came forward and made Odela. In fact, at that time, I did not think that there would be a sequel to this. The film received a very good success. It was a greater success than we expected. All the audiences who saw the film praised it as very good. But even then, I did not expect that the sequel to this film would be at this level, and that there would be a sequel on such a grand scale. It is very happy to bring the sequel Odela 2 to the audience on such a grand scale, after the great success of Odela, which started as a small effort during Corona.

What is the difference between Odela 1 and Odela 2?
Odela 1 is an out and out murder mystery. Odela 2 is a supernatural thriller. Odela 2 is much bigger than Odela. It has many amazing elements. The audience will have a great theatrical experience.

How are your combination scenes with Tamannaah?
I have combination scenes with Tamannaah in this. She will be seen in my sister character. However, I will be seen mostly in the jail episodes in the film. My character will create as much impact in the second part as it did in the first part.

How was it working with Sampath Nandi?
Sampath garu is a visionary filmmaker. When he told me my character in the first Odela story, I felt shocked. Can I do such a performance-based character? I thought. But Sampath garu told me to try. I felt very happy that he had such faith in me. His faith gave me more confidence. Sampath garu is a very nice and kind person. Working with him was a great pleasure.

What things did you learn from Tamannaah?
Tamanna takes every character very seriously. I really liked the way she prepares for a character. She prepared very well for Odela 2. In fact, I did not prepare much for my character while doing Odela. I never did homework like Tamanna did. I have learned to do such homework in the future.

What about Ashok Teja's direction?
I have worked with him since the movie Odela. He is very clear. Sampath Nandi garu and Ashok Teja garu work with good teamwork. Working with Ashok Teja garu is a very good experience.

What about producer Madhu?
Madhu Garu took the project to the next level. He made the film on a very grand scale without compromising anywhere. I wish this film to be a huge success and bring him fame.

What about Ajinesh Loknath's music?
Agniesh's music is a big asset to this film. He took the film to another level with his music. The background score is extraordinary. He has given the perfect music for a supernatural thriller.

How was it like working with Vasishta?
I acted with him for the first time in Odela 1. He is a wonderful actor. When we act with him, we get inspiration to act wonderfully too.

You've completed ten years in the industry. How has this journey been?
This journey has been a joy. There have been ups and downs. But as an actress, I am always happy. Success or failure is not final. It is in our hands to keep working. I have learned a lot in this journey. I am confident that I will continue to travel as an actress for another 10 years.

What kind of characters do you want to make?
I have tried many genres of films so far. I want to make a full-fledged comedy entertainer.

About new projects?
Two films in Telugu are getting ready for release. I am doing a Kannada film. It will start next month.
