The USA market is usually regarded as the weak zone for Nandamuri Balakrishna. Routine mass masala commercial films don't tend to go big at the USA box office and the same had been the case with Balakrishna's previous films regardless of the word of mouth.

But this time around, Balakrishna is comfortably beating Chiranjeevi at the USA box office in the wake of the forthcoming Sankranthi clash. 

Veera Simha Reddy's pre-sales have gone past the $100K mark already while Waltiar Veerayya is still hovering around the $80K mark. 

The blockbuster success of Akhanda and the mass highs that Veera Simha Reddy promises, appear to be the two factors that are largely boosting the box office prospects of the Balakrishna starrer. 

The advance sales for Veera Simha Reddy have touched the $100K mark 9 days before the release and there's still a long way to go. Can Chiru's Waltair Veerayya beat the Balakrishna film's USA tally on its D-day - 13 January? We have to wait and see.
