It is known that Guntur Karam marks the coming together of Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu. The film is headed for release next Sankranthi season.

The latest news we are hearing is that Gutnur Karam has started to close out its theatrical deals already.

Apparently, the Nizam regions theatrical rights of the film were sold out already. Dil Raju has closed the deal for an impressive price of Rs 42 crores it seems.

Dil Raju is the main player in the Nizam theatrical segment and he is said to have dolled out Rs 42 crores for the Nizam theatrical rights of Guntur Karam.

Guntur Karam has the mass backing of Mahesh and Trivikram which is a crazy combination. And on top of that, it has the Sankranthi release advantage, which is why Dil Raju paid a whopping amount of money for the film.

Box office: Skanda and Pedda Kapu to leave huge losses

The Tollywood box office saw the release of multiple new films last weekend and two of the notable such films were Pedda Kapu and Skanda. Skanda marks the coming together of Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu and this is a proper mass films. Skanda had a good opening at the box office despite the week reviews. But with the poor word of mouth, it couldn't generate much revenues later and it crashed in the long weekend, ending up posting weak numbers.
