Unfortunately, the event was canceled due to overwhelming crowd size and security concerns, disappointing many who had traveled to celebrate the film's release.
NTR, the film's lead actor, shared his regret in a heartfelt video message, saying, “I am deeply saddened that today’s Devara event has been canceled, especially since I was looking forward to it so much. I enjoy spending time with you and sharing insights about Devara.” He expressed his disappointment over not being able to discuss the film's creation and the hard work put into it. NTR further reassured fans, “I share your disappointment; my pain is even greater than yours.”
Following the cancellation, fans directed their frustration towards Shreyas Media, the event organizers, and the film’s producers. In response, NTR defended them, stating, “In my opinion, it is wrong to blame the producers or organizers for the cancellation of the Devara event.” He emphasized the challenges faced in organizing such a large-scale event, particularly during a busy season with Ganesh Nimarjanam approaching.
Despite the setback, NTR reminded fans that he would connect with them through theaters when the film releases on Friday, September 27.
