Nandamuri Balakrishna recently took the stage at the grand pre-release event of his upcoming film Daaku Maharaaj in the USA, where he shared his thoughts on his film career, his spiritual beliefs, and his response to criticism. With 50 years in the industry, Balakrishna reflected on his journey, from being introduced to cinema by his legendary father, NTR, to becoming a self-made success in the film industry. He openly acknowledged criticism but shared that age and experience have given him the maturity to make better decisions regarding his films.
Having delivered three back-to-back blockbusters (Akhanda, Veerasimha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari), Balakrishna drew a comparison to the golden period of 1986 when he enjoyed several successes. He emphasized that his "second innings" isn't about taking up character roles but about embracing a new chapter in his career with major successes still in his grasp. Alongside his acting career, he also celebrated his political success as Hindupur MLA, winning three consecutive terms.
