After Amitabh, Abhishek Bachchan To Join Prabhas In Telugu Film Fauzi?
After Amitabh Bachchan’s impactful role as Ashwathama in Prabhas’ sci-fi spectacle Kalki 2898 AD, fresh speculation is buzzing in the industry that his son, Abhishek Bachchan, might soon step into Telugu cinema. Reports suggest that Abhishek is being considered for a crucial role alongside Prabhas in the upcoming film Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
Fauzi is said to be a love story set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India, blending romance with intense drama. The makers are currently busy with the shoot and have reportedly carved out a character that they feel Abhishek would suit perfectly. Sources indicate that the production team has already approached the actor, who liked the storyline. Discussions regarding his role and commercials are currently underway, and if all goes well, Abhishek could soon sign on officially.
Though Abhishek Bachchan has delivered notable performances in Hindi cinema, he has so far restricted himself to Bollywood. If Fauzi materializes, it will mark his first-ever Telugu film and a significant career expansion into South Indian cinema. With the film planned as a pan-India release, the collaboration could give Abhishek fresh visibility both in the South and among Hindi audiences.
For Prabhas, who is already juggling multiple big projects, Fauzi adds another feather to his cap. Directed by the acclaimed Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is expected to showcase a blend of powerful storytelling and grand visuals. Fans are now eagerly awaiting an official confirmation to see if Abhishek Bachchan will indeed share the screen with Prabhas in this much-anticipated venture.
