Baaghi 4 : Latest Hindi Movie Review

Plot

Ronni (Tiger Shroff) suffers an accident and slips into a coma, where much of the story unfolds as hallucinations. His love story with Alisha (Harnaaz Sandhu) blurs between reality and delusion, only to be dismissed as a dream. Meanwhile, his brother (Shreyas Talpade) dies pointlessly, while Ronni faces a villain (Sanjay Dutt) in a story that collapses under its own weight.

Overview

Directed with little coherence, Baaghi 4 stretches into 2.5 hours of action sequences that lack purpose. The plot tries to mix tragedy, romance, and high-octane stunts, but what emerges is an exhausting cinematic experience where action overtakes logic, and emotions are lost in translation.

Performances

  • Tiger Shroff: Brings energy to the fights but delivers wooden acting and repetitive expressions.
  • Harnaaz Sandhu: Miscast as the heroine; ornamental but ineffective.
  • Shreyas Talpade: Wasted in yet another underwritten role.
  • Sonam Bajwa: Reduced to a prop role, underutilized.
  • Sanjay Dutt: Plays the villain half-heartedly, clearly deserving better material.

Technical Aspects

  • Action: Overdone, loud, and pointless, without narrative value.
  • Direction: Lack of control; feels like every department worked in isolation.
  • Visuals: Glossy but empty; style over substance.

Music

Forgettable songs and uninspired background score that fail to elevate any emotion.

Editing

Bloated runtime with no rhythm; poor pacing makes the 2.5 hours feel longer.

Positives

  • A few well-shot stunts.
  • High production scale.

Negatives

  • Illogical screenplay and weak writing.
  • Overdone action sequences with no meaning.
  • Flat performances from lead actors.
  • Poor direction and editing.
  • Predictable and repetitive narrative.

Analysis

Baaghi 4 is an example of style without soul. Instead of building on the franchise’s action-thriller reputation, it delivers a half-baked story drowned in overlong fights and bizarre hallucination-driven twists. What could have been an intense action drama ends up being a confused, tiring watch.
