The broader tour schedule had included the launch of a CT scan facility at the government hospital as one of its key public infrastructure programmes. However, the Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction after noticing poor sanitation and garbage within the hospital premises. He questioned the hospital superintendent over maintenance standards and directed officials to remove waste immediately and improve cleanliness. Naidu also instructed the authorities to work towards upgrading the facility into a model hospital.
