Member of Technical Staff was the most notable category. Salaries under that title ranged from $133,952 to $1.38 million, while managers within the group could receive as much as $850,000.
The filings do not specify whether each Member of Technical Staff position involved research, engineering or technical leadership. The broad range indicates that Anthropic uses the title for workers with different levels of experience and responsibility.
Reinforcement Learning Researcher positions carried base salaries from $112,778 to $500,000.
Product and Operations Roles Also Reached High Pay Levels
Anthropic’s H-1B filings were not limited to engineers and researchers. Product Design Manager salaries reached as high as $385,000, while some Product Operations positions offered up to $500,000.
The records also included six-figure pay for jobs in finance, legal services, accounting, partnerships, marketing, research operations and technical sales. Some of those positions carried base salaries reaching $500,000.
