The WION Summit 2026 will bring policymakers, entrepreneurs, innovators and Indian diaspora leaders together in New Jersey and New York from September 9 to 14. The programme combines an Indo-US leadership agenda, Global Indian Honours, networking, Bollywood entertainment and New York Fashion Week access.
WION Summit 2026 Agenda
The Zee Media–WION Global Innovation & Leadership Summit is scheduled as a six-day programme organised in partnership with MyDream Global. According to information shared by the organisers, the experience will combine business discussions, cultural programmes, fashion events and recognition ceremonies across New Jersey and New York City.
Delegates travelling from India are expected to depart on September 9 and arrive at Newark Liberty International Airport on September 10. The planned package includes arrival assistance, hotel transfers and networking opportunities, including a dinner and meet-and-greet involving contestants from the Mrs Universe USA pageant.
The main summit is scheduled for September 11 at Royal Albert’s Palace in New Jersey. Registration and networking are expected to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the inaugural programme at 11:00 AM.
Indo-US Leadership Discussions
The summit agenda is expected to feature policymakers, diplomats and business leaders from India and the United States. Discussions will focus on the changing Indo-US partnership, global commerce, innovation and the growing influence of Indian professionals in America.
A session titled “Mumbai to Manhattan” is planned to explore the relationship between culture and commerce. Other proposed discussions will examine India’s development as a global brand, the diaspora’s role as a bridge between the two countries and the contribution of Indian talent to American innovation.
These sessions could offer delegates direct exposure to policy perspectives and business opportunities. However, the final speaker list and session schedule should be confirmed through the organisers before attendees make travel or participation decisions.
Indian Diaspora and Global Honours
The Zee Media–WION Global Indian Honours will recognise entrepreneurs, investors, academics, artists, professionals, innovators and changemakers from the Indian diaspora.
The honours are designed to highlight individuals whose work has created measurable impact across industries while strengthening connections between India and the United States. Rather than treating the diaspora only as an overseas community, the programme aims to present global Indians as contributors to business, culture, research and public life.
The September 11 programme is also expected to include the Mrs Universe USA 2026 Grand Finale, fashion presentations, entertainment, red-carpet activities, networking cocktails and a gala dinner.
New York Fashion Week Experience
Delegates are scheduled to move to New York City on September 12, with accommodation planned at a Times Square hotel or an equivalent property. The evening programme includes a professional Times Square photoshoot and a proposed appearance on the area’s digital billboards.
A Bollywood Rooftop Night is scheduled later that evening, combining music, entertainment, dinner and informal networking. Beverages at this event are not included in the delegate package and must be purchased separately.
On September 13, delegates are expected to receive access to selected New York Fashion Week activities, including designer presentations associated with Rohit Verma, Rosy Ahluwalia and Vaishali Kumar. The Global Indian Honours evening is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM, followed by a Rohit Verma designer show at 7:00 PM.
Networking and Delegate Benefits
The programme is positioned as a networking platform for business owners, professionals and community leaders seeking connections across India and the United States. Organisers state that each participant will receive a professionally produced two-minute profile video and editorial exposure across selected Zee Media digital or broadcast platforms.
The delegate fee is listed as $3,000, while smart casual clothing is recommended for the summit. Participants may extend their stay after the scheduled September 14 departure, but additional travel and accommodation costs will remain their responsibility.
Prospective delegates should request written confirmation of the complete fee inclusions, hotel category, flight arrangements, visa responsibilities, cancellation policy, confirmed speakers, media deliverables and Fashion Week access before paying. The event offers an ambitious combination of leadership, diaspora recognition and entertainment, but the commercial terms and final programme must be reviewed carefully.
