Naveen Chandra Talks About Eleven Movie and His Role – An Exclusive Interview
What inspired the title ‘Eleven’ for the movie?
The title is drawn directly from the story. It’ll make perfect sense after watching the film. It’s not just a number it has emotional and narrative significance.
How confident are you about the film’s reception?
Very confident. The Tamil version has already received a standing ovation. The reactions to the twists and intense moments were incredible. I believe the Telugu audience will love it too.
What makes Eleven a unique thriller?
Unlike typical thrillers, this movie has a strong emotional concept that hasn’t been explored before. Every element has logic, and the plot twists are hard to predict.
Can you tell us about your experience working with director Lokesh Ajls?
Lokesh is an excellent writer and director. His vision and clarity reflect in every scene. The film has a commercial feel with high-quality visuals and sound.
Was it challenging to shoot in both Telugu and Tamil?
We shot different takes for each language and didn’t use a translated script. A dedicated Telugu writer worked on the version, and I dubbed in Tamil myself to keep it authentic.
How do you mentally detach from intense roles like this?
Earlier in my career, it was tough. I would carry the character with me even at home. But after marriage, I’ve learned to switch off after the shoot ends.
What can you share about your role in Mass Jathara with Ravi Teja?
I’m playing the villain, and the look is quite unique. Ravi Teja garu personally referred me, which is a big honor. It’s a powerful and special role.
Any upcoming projects you’re excited about?
Yes, I’m working on Honey (a dark film), Kaali (an action film), a Tamil movie, and a comedy with director Hari. The comedy especially is a new and fun experience for me.
All the best
Thank you.
