Bharta Mahasayaluku Vignapthi Director Kishore Tirumala Interview | Ravi Teja Family Entertainer
Q: What is the core theme of the film?
Kishore Tirumala: The main theme is about what one husband tells other husbands based on his life experiences and the struggles he faced. It is presented in a very entertaining yet meaningful way.
Q: You said one question in the film doesn’t even have an answer on ChatGPT. What is that about?
Kishore Tirumala: The question asked by the two girls is something every married person has faced at some point. When you hear it, you won’t immediately know how to answer. That question itself is very powerful, and the answer to it can only be experienced in the movie.
Q: How different is this story from Illalu Priyuranu?
Kishore Tirumala: This story is treated from a completely different perspective. It is not just emotional, but also highly entertaining.
Q: You danced during promotions. What inspired that energy?
Kishore Tirumala: Promotions are very important today, but I danced not for promotions. I danced because I genuinely felt the passion and happiness.
Q: You also choreographed a song in the film?
Kishore Tirumala: Yes, I choreographed a small entertaining song featuring Satya. It’s a fun bit song.
Q: Did you write the story keeping Ravi Teja in mind?
Kishore Tirumala: Yes. The story was developed only after deciding to do it with Ravi Teja. Even though he had many projects, he chose this film first because he liked the script so much.
Q: How emotionally sensitive is the story?
Kishore Tirumala: The question asked in the film is very sensitive. Such issues usually create fights, hatred, and even divorces in real life. The story was written to make people question their anger and reactions. The audience will be shocked when they hear that question. The question itself carries the biggest punishment.
Q: What was Ravi Teja’s response while acting?
Kishore Tirumala: He enjoyed the character a lot. He followed everything I wrote for Ram Satyanarayana and told me, “Don’t get confused, I will do exactly what you want.” He looks very fresh on screen. I also took some of his valuable inputs.
Q: Who suggested the title?
Kishore Tirumala: Rangabali director Pawan worked on the script and suggested the title.
Q: How does it feel to release your first Sankranthi film?
Kishore Tirumala: I wanted to make an out-and-out entertainer and it turned out exactly as planned. With such a wonderful cast, Sankranthi vibe naturally increases. I am very confident that families will enjoy this film.
Q: Tell us about the heroines.
Kishore Tirumala: Ashika and Dimple both have different characters with strong performance scope. Ashika’s role will be very impactful, and Dimple will be seen in a completely new shade.
Q: What about the comedy tracks?
Kishore Tirumala: Satya and Vennela Kishore’s tracks are hilarious. Sunil’s character is also very entertaining. Watching this film will remind audiences of Dubai Seenu-level fun.
Q: How is producer Sudhakar Cherukuri?
Kishore Tirumala: He is more like a brother than a producer. He never compromises and always supports the film wholeheartedly.
Q: Tell us about your acting experience in Mirai.
Kishore Tirumala: After that film, I understood the life of an actor. If we get a good character and director, acting becomes very enjoyable. I may also be part of Mirai Part 2.
Q: What about your upcoming projects?
Kishore Tirumala: I have two or three scripts. One is devotional mythology, and another is a social satire like Munna Bhai. I will announce soon which one I start first.
Q: Any message to the audience?
Kishore Tirumala: This is an out-and-out family entertainer. Please watch it with your family and enjoy it happily in theatres.
