Star Boy Siddu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square, for which he has written the screenplay and dialogues too, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 29 worldwide. Directed by Mallik Ram, the film stars Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. Tillu Square is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and is presented by Srikara Studios. The film’s pre-release event was held in Hyderabad today.

At the event, Siddu said, “It was divine intervention that Ram Miriyala and Kasarla Shyam came on board for the Tillu franchise, I can’t imagine the film without the song and it deserves ample credit. I thank all the supporting cast who worked on the film. Working on a sequel is challenging - it has to be thematically engaging and equally surprising as the first. It was like going into a war zone.”

“We watched the final copy, you’d be thrilled by the intermission itself. I convey my gratitude to Trivikram garu, the producers, Kalyan Shankar and others for their inputs. Tillu Square will do complete justice. Anupama Parameswaran has done a wonderful job,” he further added.

“DJ Tillu, both the film and the music became an intrinsic part of our lives. I hope you’ll give similar encouragement to Tillu Square too. I am thankful to the producers for the opportunity and confident the film has everything in it to entertain you for two and a half hours. I can say it with assurance after watching the first copy. I made a great friend out of Siddu,” director Mallik Ram shared.

“Tillu Square will break all records and I’m sure it’ll set the box office on fire,” producer S Naga Vamsi exuded confidence.

“It was an unexpected call from Siddu that got me on board for DJ Tillu and I am sure that the journey will continue across multiple instalments. Tillu Square is a complete entertainer and I can’t wait to perform with you all at the success meet,” singer, composer Ram Miriyala stated.

“I got to write three songs from the film - Ticket Eh Konakuda earned me praise from Trivikram. Just like DJ Tillu, I interacted with Tillu Square’s director only over the phone and he has made the film with a lot of passion. Siddu is obsessed with cinema and talented at writing too. I hope my success journey with the banner continues in the long run,” lyricist Kasarla Shyam added.

Actors Muralidhar Goud, Praneeth Reddy and singer Sreerama Chandra (Oh My Lilly) too expressed their happiness on being part of team Tillu Square, assuring audiences a wild, entertaining ride.

“We were lucky to have watched a few parts of the film in advance and it is going to be a comic blast. Scratch Untadi Motham.. was one of the favourite dialogues of my son. The trailers are wonderful and I’m sure it’s going to have a great run at the box office,” costume designer, director Neeraja Kona said.

“When I met Siddu Jonnalagadda in between the shoot of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, I knew he was destined to make it big in the industry. It’s very hard to recreate the success of a movie as big as DJ Tillu but Siddu has doubled the energy in his performance and it’ll do wonders,” director Bobby Kolli shared.

“I noticed Siddu’s love for cinema way back during the making of Kandireega and it’s only because of his passion and hard work that he’s come so far in the industry. He fully deserves the success he’s enjoying today and I can’t wait to watch Tillu Square storm the theatres,” director Anil Ravipudi mentioned.

“The second release trailer of Tillu Square is amazing and it has given us every reason to be excited for the film. It’s as if this trailer has quenched our thirst for the time being, the makers kept us in suspense after the first promo. Tillu Square is here to stay and it’ll make a killing at the theatres,” Venky Atluri averred.

“Like the car that flies mid-air, Siddu is full of excitement and energy from the first frame to the last frame in the trailer. Going by the promos, the film has all the ingredients to become a box office success. I wish the team very best,” Bommarillu Bhaskar said.

“Tillu Square has a blockbuster mark written all over it - I could confirm it by the interval time after watching a screening this week. It is total joy ride and is more entertaining than DJ Tillu,” Kalyan Shankar said
