National Award-winning actor Dhanush has officially begun shooting for his next high-octane action thriller, tentatively titled D54. Coming off the success of his recent film Kuberaa, where he portrayed a beggar with raw intensity, Dhanush is back with another gripping project. The film is helmed by Vignesh Raja, who earned praise for his directorial debut Por Thozhil, a critically acclaimed thriller that made waves at the box office.

The makers released a striking announcement poster featuring Dhanush standing in a burning cotton field with his head bowed signaling a dark, intense storyline.
