Hyderabad Couple Missing: Police Probe Switzerland Trip

The Hyderabad couple missing case has taken a new turn after police reportedly uncovered investor fraud allegations against Pabba Chandrasekhar and Swapna. Investigators are tracing the couple, examining complaints and verifying their reported Switzerland travel plans.

Hyderabad Couple Missing Case Widens to Alleged Financial Fraud

The investigation into a Hyderabad couple reported missing after claiming they were travelling to Switzerland has widened, with police now examining allegations that they collected large sums of money from investors before becoming unreachable.

Pabba Chandrasekhar and his wife, Pabba Swapna, residents of the Cherlapally area, reportedly left their home on Monday, June 22, 2026. Their daughter, Pabba Shreya, later approached the Cherlapally police after the couple’s phones remained switched off and the family could not contact them.

Hyderabad Couple Investigation Takes New Turn

The case was initially registered as a missing-person investigation. Early reports said the couple had told relatives they were travelling to Switzerland and had remained in contact during the first part of the trip.

However, investigators are still working to establish their movements and determine whether they travelled according to the itinerary described to their family. Their phones have reportedly remained switched off for more than 20 days.

Police Examine Investor Fraud Allegations

Cherlapally police have reportedly found that Chandrasekhar and Swapna had collected several crores of rupees from multiple people before leaving Hyderabad. Police said the money was allegedly obtained in connection with a chit fund or through other financial promises made to investors.

Separate reports have cited allegations that Chandrasekhar collected money from acquaintances and members of his community. The amounts and circumstances remain under investigation, and the allegations have not been proven in court.

Investigators are reviewing travel information, communication records and complaints from people who say they gave money to the couple. Authorities are also attempting to establish the couple’s current location and whether they remain outside India.

The investigation now involves both the original missing-person complaint and the financial allegations. Further action will depend on evidence gathered from travel records, banking information and statements from complainants.
