Chandrababu Naidu to Join Modi Birthday Event in Varanasi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Varanasi on September 17 to participate in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan being held on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday. The programme is part of a month-long campaign marking 25 years since Modi first assumed elected executive office as Gujarat Chief Minister in October 2001.

Naidu to participate in Varanasi programme

Naidu is expected to attend the main Seva Sankalp programme in Varanasi along with several senior leaders. He is also scheduled to visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple before taking part in the event.

The campaign includes public-service activities, outreach programmes, cleanliness initiatives and youth-focused events. Varanasi, represented by Modi in the Lok Sabha, is one of the key locations for the campaign.

Varanasi-Vadnagar bike yatra to be flagged off

As part of the programme, simultaneous bike yatras are scheduled to begin from Varanasi and Vadnagar in Gujarat on September 17. Vadnagar is Modi’s birthplace, while Varanasi is his parliamentary constituency. The journeys are expected to pass through several states and include service-oriented activities along the route.

Naidu is among the leaders expected to participate in the Varanasi flag-off programme. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also scheduled to attend the event.

Naidu to return after completing engagements

After completing his scheduled engagements in Varanasi, Naidu is expected to return to Andhra Pradesh later in the day. His visit comes while the TDP and BJP remain partners in the National Democratic Alliance.

The programme will bring together senior NDA leaders in Varanasi as the Seva Sankalp campaign begins on Modi’s birthday.
