The prices underline how the convention will serve two purposes: rallying Republican voters and generating major financial support for the party as it fights to retain congressional control in the November 3 midterm elections.
The official convention website confirms that the event will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on September 9 and 10. The RNC describes it as the first Republican midterm convention and says it will highlight Trump’s record, Republican candidates and the party’s agenda.
JD Vance donor events offer lower price tier
Vice President JD Vance will headline his own donor opportunities during the convention. A photo with Vance is reportedly priced at $35,000, while access to his September 10 roundtable costs $75,000 per attendee.
Although considerably below Trump’s prices, the figures still place the events firmly in the high-dollar political fundraising category. Other convention-related packages have reportedly reached $100,000, while some Republican lawmakers and candidates have faced costs of up to $25,000 connected with attendance.
Dallas GOP convention breaks political tradition
